Twenty years after a schoolboy prank goes horrifically wrong, mortician Ben Bale is convinced he is loosing his mind when the girl involved, seemingly returns from the dead to seek revenge.

The Unrest is a psychological horror set in a remote Scottish village in the highlands. Unlike the majority of films of this genre The Unrest portrays a believable reflection of real life, closer to the style and tone of a social drama. It deals with themes of death, obsession, guilt and dementophobia - the fear of loosing your mind.
