Twenty years after a schoolboy prank goes horrifically wrong, mortician Ben Bale is convinced he is loosing his mind when the girl involved, seemingly returns from the dead to seek revenge.

Fear is based on a distrust of reality. This film takes a new approach to the traditional ghost story, presenting a believable rationalization for the existence of ghosts. It aims to frighten you on a much more profound level than conventional horror, scaring you by what you don't see rather than what you do.

Unlike the majority of films of this genre The Unrest portrays a believable reflection of real life, closer to the style and tone of a social drama. It deals with themes of death, obsession, guilt and dementophobia - the fear of loosing your mind.
