Talk To Me
Starring: Gary Kitching and Maxine Kerr
Tony and Sarah´s paths cross within a decayed and rotting theatre. Sheltered from their troubles outside, they spark an unusual friendship, but the pressure to keep their secrets hidden eventually become too much.
This is a sentimental and atmospheric film unlike anything I had made before. It was the kind of gently paced story I had previously avoided, but as this was my last film at University, I decided to experiment in the areas I was least experienced. In the end Talk To Me was a very well produced and technically superior film to Black Out, but it's lack of energy and pace made it less popular with mainstream audiences.
