Ethos

I have been disappointed and frustrated by many UK production companies poor script development skills and non-committal, play safe attitude towards first time feature film director's. As a result I decided to set up my own film company for the development and eventual production of high quality mainstream feature films. My intention is not only to be highly successful but to maintain basic moral principles throughout by adhering to the following manifesto.

  • Choose stories that I'm passionate about and that have strong commercial appeal.
  • Create a flexible business model that can adapt to the constant change in technology and trends.
  • Reduce crew and equipment to the bare minimum to improve overall efficiancy and keep costs low.
  • Use new greener technologies with organic methods of film making to allow more creative freedom and lower our carbon footprint.
  • Hire versatile intelligent actors and open minded, multi-skilled crews.
  • Be transparent - Make films based on trust, honesty and collaboration.

If our industry is to survive we need to make films cheaper and faster while still maintaining high production values and first class storytelling, offering audiences maximum choice in how, when and where they watch our films.
