Drakkon

Starring: Derek Boyes, Richard Wilkinson, Nicola Goss, Philip Slocombe, Oliver Kneesbeck and Mike Joslin

Attempting to abduct his runaway Niece, an evil King and his son are challenged by a peasant and his pet baby dragon. After a long and courageous fight it seems the peasant´s fate is sealed, but the King and his army have an unexpected visitor – Drakkon, the largest and oldest Dragon to have ever walked this earth.

Drakkon was a ridiculously ambitious action adventure full of stunts and special effects, which perhaps was not the most suitable genre for a first film. I new little about 16mm learning everything from books and using equipment that was old and temperamental. In the end I think we pulled off an impressive short despite the dodgy acting.
